SilverSneakers® group exercise formats are multi-level, equipment-based total body conditioning classes. The classes include use of a chair for seated and/or standing support and offer a wide variety of exercises for the upper and lower body designed to improve all nine health and skill-related fitness components. They are appropriate for individuals who are fit and active as well as those who are sedentary, unfamiliar with exercise, entering post-rehabilitation programs, and/or those who enjoy a positive social environment.
CLASSES OFFERED: Monday and Friday 9:45am-10:30am
SilverSneakers® Muscular Strength & Range of Motion classes will begin. Move through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
