The American Cancer Society predicts one in eight women will be affected by breast cancer in her lifetime. Our Mammography Department is certified by the Texas Department of Health, FDA and accredited by the American College of Radiology. Technically advanced equipment is available to provide superior images for early detection of breast cancer while using very low doses of radiation. A Computer Assisted Detection (CAD) system, using "Second Look" technology which improves the effectiveness of mammography, is offered as a standard part of our mammography service.
